RCJ Membership

Application for membership in the Rain City Jacks private club is available only by coming to an event and signing up at the door.

To qualify for membership, one must be an adult male, 18 years of age or older. We define "male" as being born with and posessing a penis.

To be accepted for membership, a man must fully understand and agree to adhere to the Rain City Jacks Membership Agreement and Code of Conduct, present verifiable proof of identity and pay all required dues and fees.

New members must provide a valid, legal photo ID, dues and applicable event fees at the time of sign-up. Payment are accepted in cash only and may only be made by the new member himself and in person.

Annual membership dues and event fees pay for our play space, supplies, web sites, printed materials and promotion, and serve to make our events truly unique and help to keep the club responsive to the needs of its members. As a paid member, you help ensure the health and continued viability of the club and make possible many improvements over time.

Dues are required of all non-charter members, but event fees may be reduced or waived in a number of ways, including qualifying discounts, timely membership renewal, sponsorship of new members

Group events are what the club all about. Coming together and cumming together. Our primary purpose is to gather groups of men together for a positive and safe samesex experience. Our regular events take place twice a month in a private space set up to accommodate up to 80 men.

The fee charged to members for each event depends on the level of membership purchased:

Membership Levels

You can join the Jacks for as little as $25 per year and pay $15 per event, or if you think you'll be attending several events in a year, you can pay more up front and nothing per event...

The level you choose should be based upon the number of events you expect to attend in a year of membership. The more you expect to attend, the better value a higher-tier membership will have for you.

BASIC MEMBERSHIP
$25 per year / $15 per regular event

The basic membership grants access to all regular events for $15 per event.

PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP
$175 per year / regular events FREE

Prepaid Members have access to all regular and special events for no charge.

TRIAL MEMBERSHIP
$20 first event / $15 per regular event

Trial membership is good for one month. $20 includes dues and an event fee for the first event, and access to the club for one month. Regular Basic Membership rates apply ($15 per event).

Limit one Trial membership in any 12-month period.

Trial membership may not be combined with any other discounts or incentive programs. Current members do not get a free event when sponsoring Trial members.

No refunds or cancellations.

Trial members may upgrade to Basic memberhip within 12 months of Trial membership purchase, and do qualify for a free event when paying Basic or Premium dues.

CHARTER - Maroon Card
$0 per year / $5 per regular event

Original members of the Jacks pay no yearly dues and pay only $5 per event, as long as they remain members in good standing. Some special offers apply only to charter members.

This level of membership is now available only as a volunteer benefit. Members who volunteer 12 or more times in any 12-month period are awarded Charter-level membership for the life of the club.

Charter members must remain active members in good standing to retain privileges. Charter members include all original members of our Yahoo group who joined before the official launch of the club on June 7, 2005, and who also attended at least one event before June 7, 2006. Those who did not attend at least one event in that time period are not eligible for Charter membership. Charter memberships are non-transferable.

RENEWALS
Dues only ($25 for Basic, $175 for Premium) / Event fee waived when renewing within 1 year of membership expiration

Members at the Basic level may have their event fee waived when renewing active membership within one year of membership expiration. Renewing members must surrender expired membership cards, present valid Photo ID and update membership information at the time of renewal.

DISCOUNTS

• COUPLES who live together pay only dues when joining as new members. Event fees are waived at sign-up. IDs must show identical residences
• STUDENTS pay only dues when joining as new members. Event fee is waived at sign-up. $10 event fee when showing current, valid student ID (5 discount). Must be active student to qualify for discounts.
• MILITARY - Any veteran or active-duty military man pays only dues when signing up, and receives a special membership card allowing $10 event fees. Proof of service required at sign-up.
• Center for Sex Positive Culture Members
  Current members of CSPC pay only dues when joining as new members, and receive $10 discount when presenting a current, valid CSPC membership card

INACTIVATION

Membership records are retained for one year after expiration of membership dues. After a membership is inactivated and removed from the club records, a member may rejoin as a new member. Charter memberships never expire or become inactive without the written request of the member.

Cancellations / Revocations / Exclusions

Any member may cancel his membership at any time by returning his membeship card. Cards should be mailed to RCJ. PO Box 2647, Seattle, WA 98111.

Refunds for cancelled memberships are made at the discretion of Rain City Jacks, and are generally available within 14 days of joining the club. If a refund is granted, it will generally take 6 to 8 weeks to complete.

To be a member of Rain City Jacks all members agree to observe and honor the RCJ Code of Conduct. To stay a member in good standing, it is important that every member abide by the Code.

Members who are banned from the club for misconduct are not eligible for refund of any fees. Club officers reserve the right to terminate any individual's membership at any time without notice or cause, including access to the RCJ Connection Yahoo! group, subscription to the RCJ Events announce list and admission to any RCJ events.

Event fees are not refundable.
